From the Post Commander
Greetings Owatonna American Legion Family,
We have past members that have been dropped from our membership roles at the State level for not keeping their Legion membership up to date. Due to rising postal costs, you will no longer receive a Post newsletter after this one if your membership is delinquent.. Please renew your membership!
Chow time/Post/Auxiliary Meeting
No meals before the Post meetings, no Tuesday night Veterans meals, and no Friday night food June to August. Meals will start again in September.
Recent Post Charitable Donations
Boys State $800, Legion Baseball $4700, Pool League $3061, Jeff Hill USAF Fund $1000, Steele County Honor Guard $3500
The Hack is Back
Thank you Ken Gleason for leading the charge to get the 1919 Legion Hack up and running again. We plan on having it in the Memorial Day Parade!!!!

Boys State
We have two boys that will be attending Boys State. They are Lowell Schultz from Owatonna High School and Conrad Culshaw from Medford High School. Thank you Dan Brewster for helping make it happen.
Legionville Safety Camp
We expect to have 25 kids attending Legionville Safety Camp July 12 to 17 near Brainerd. It’s a great program and a lot of fun for the kids!
Friday Morning Coffee has been discontinued
SAL NEWS
Thanks to everyone who donated and/or purchased a garage sale item! Mark your calendar, June 6th is the SAL par three golf tournament. Sign up at the Post. No SAL meetings for July, August and September unless there is a new matter to discuss.
